I am a Year 8 student at Edmund Hillary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 10 and my teacher is Peta. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first draft. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
Kia ora Margaret, thank you for sharing this on your blog. I like how you have included the links to the articles that you found these words in. One thing you could add is images to help show what the words mean. Mahi pai, good work!

ReplyDeleteI really like this activity that you have been doing in Room 11.
Investigating words that you are not sure of is a great way to develop your understanding of the topic. You have found some very interesting words and their meanings.
I wonder if you can now use these words in your own writing?

Kia Ora Margaret,
ReplyDeleteI love the bright wonderful colours you added to the background. These words you chosen looked very interesting because how you spelt it.
Maybe next time you should say the meaning in your own words. Its would excellent if you added some pictures but good on you for posting during lockdown.
Can you think of an example ?
